El talentoso escritor sanjuanino acaba de fallecer en el día de hoy a los 48 años, el «Negro Campillay» como le decían todos, el poeta urbano, el poeta maldito. Vivió intensamente. Las primeras versiones indican que sufrió un paro cardiaco mientras trabajaba en una oficina en el Rectorado. Campillay desarrollaba tareas laborales en la Editorial Universitaria desde hace varios años.
Adrián Campillay nació en San Juan en diciembre de 1969. Desde la década del 80 participo del movimiento literario sanjuanino. Por sus trabajos en poesía ha obtenido primeros premios a nivel provincial y regional.
